Endorsements from Randy Alcorn & Francis Chan

We’re excited to announce endorsements from two amazing Christian leaders! Randy Alcorn, bestselling author of Heaven, and Francis Chan, bestselling author of Crazy Love, have recently told us stories about how much they love the What’s in the Bible? DVDs!

Francis Chan wrote to us and said this:

“I’ve never been more excited about a children’s dvd series.  I have been telling everyone about it.  It is what the church in America needs to raise its biblical literacy.  I don’t know if I’m more excited for the kids or for the adults.  I started out watching with my 4 and 5 year olds.  Before long, my 10 and 14 year olds were intrigued, as well as my wife.  I’m amazed that it kept the attention of all of us while teaching us all key biblical truths.”

Randy Alcorn wrote about watching What’s in the Bible? with his grandson on his blog. You can read the whole post there, but here’s a taste of what he had to say:

“I was impressed with the depth of biblical background and commentary on God’s great drama of redemption. Yet it’s so engaging to children and adults (namely me) that it remained fun and entertaining throughout … I envision parents learning God’s Word right alongside their children, leading to spiritually significant conversations, and heightened interest in Bible study, something we desperately need.”

Do you have a story about watching the DVDs with your children or grandchildren? We’d love to hear it!

I'm not surprised that Alcorn and Chan are impressed with this project. Our family loves them and we're so excited about promoting biblical literacy.

Awesome! Will the next DVD's have "Blurbs" on them? You're certainly getting enough reviews!

I knew I was going to love these when I saw the trailers a few months ago. We're planning to use them with our Life Group, which meets 2x month. We've only met once since we got the first DVD, but our plan is to watch the video and then have some creative playtime constructing the stories or themes with Legos. Here's our first effort: http://bit.ly/gardenofeden (we got a little ahead of ourselves--Genesis is next!) Keep up the great work. We're telling everyone we know about these awesome DVDs and can't wait to see the next one!
