Curriculum Tip – How to Make the What’s in the Bible? Curriculum 5 Weeks (Instead of 4)

Each volume of the What’s in the Bible? Church Edition contains 4 weeks of lessons. To go through the whole Bible in 13 volumes would take you 52 weeks. There are many ways to customize the curriculum, from adjusting the leader guides in the Word Doc formats to adding messages to the Go Home cards.

We’ve heard from a few churches that wanted to stretch each curriculum to last 5 in order to provide more of a review/wrap-up to the lessons learned. One idea we heard from churches – and loved! – is to use the regular home DVD on the 5th week of the month.

What's in the Bible Series DVDs 1-12

Each home DVD contains two 30-minute episodes. The core teaching videos from the curriculum are pulled from the DVD, and so while some of the material will be repeated, the kids will enjoy the overall “movie” experience that watching the DVD will bring.

You can even make that Sunday a party day! Bring special snacks and set up beanbag chairs or sleeping bags for the kids to sit on to make it like a movie night.

You can buy copies of each DVD here, and for a limited time only, when you purchase Volumes 1-12 of the Church Edition, you can get Volumes 1-12 of the DVD for free!
