Psalm 100:4 – Verse of the Day 6/2/13
The “gates” and “courts” of Psalm 100 are references to the Temple, the location of God’s holy presence for the people of Israel. The people were commanded to enter the Temple with thanksgiving and praise, and for the psalmist this command seemed easy. What other response would be appropriate in the presence of the living God?
Spend some time in the presence of the Lord. Consider that the living and true God, perfect, holy, and self-sufficient as He is, has invited you to come into His presence – to know Him. Give him thanks and praise. Bless his name!
