Why Do We Call it Christmas? On Tour – with Phil Vischer

This Christmas season, Phil has been on the road to share stories surrounding the true meaning of Christmas and how families can experience a more meaningful holiday together.

Phil Vischer Why Do we Call it Christmas Church EventThe WITB team held its first-ever Christmas events for families in Colorado Springs, CO this past December 1st and in The Woodlands, TX on December 8th. They were both fun evenings for families to play trivia, hear from Phil Vischer (and a few of his friends like Bob the Tomato, Pa Grape, Buck Denver, Sunday School Lady, Clive and Ian and more!) and watch the Buck Denver Asks…Why Do We Call it Christmas? movie together. We loved being with our friends at Woodman Valley Chapel church in the heart of Colorado Springs and Faith Bible Church in The Woodlands.

We have one more event this weekend! If you or someone you know will be in the Sacramento, California area, we’d love to see you. Here’s where you can find us next:

+ December 15: Adventure Christian Church in Sacramento, CA

Keep your eyes peeled next year for our What’s in the Bible? 2014 Live Event Tour Dates!

…and the Team Spotlight

To continue along in our series of highlighting the team of people who work alongside Phil on the What’s in the Bible? team, this month we’re spotlighting Paul Conrad.

Paul and Lora Conrad

Paul is the Creative Director on the What’s in the Bible? team. As Creative Director, Paul is one of the team members who truly brings the characters to life! A talented artist, Paul has been with the WITB crew for 5 years, but he and Phil have worked together for over 14 years! Before joining the WITB team, he worked as an artist at Pixar Animation Studios, so you may have enjoyed Paul’s other work in Pixar’s movies Up and Cars 2.

Paul graduated from the University of Missouri and is originally from Clinton, Missouri. He, his wife Lora and their three sons (ages 11, 13, and 15) have lived in Nashville for nine years (minus one year spent in San Francisco during that time). When he’s not hard at work with our team, you can find Paul enjoying the great outdoors hiking and jeeping or putting his creativity into personal art and drawing.
