Teaching Objectives

Elementary-aged children will experience an exciting rotational model VBS and walk away from the week knowing the BIG story of the Bible – God’s Great Rescue Plan! – and what it means to live as a Christian.
for parents
An optional track provides a unique experience with video teaching on parenting from Phil Vischer. Parents will walk away with a new understanding of the Bible, how to lead their families through the tricky parts of the Bible, and how to engage their family in God’s redemptive mission in the world.
for home
Additional resources are also available to keep the experience alive beyond the church building. Go Home Cards are included for each lesson to prompt continued daily discussion, Family Journals are available providing 21 days of daily devotions, and name tag lanyards provide access to a family website with extra resources for kids & parents.
The What’s in the Bible? VBS Kit comes with everything you need for two versions of VBS – a rotational, kids-only VBS and an evening-format family VBS that includes a parenting track. The VBS is a 4-day (with optional 5th) experience designed for elementary-aged children.
