This is actually one of the trickiest bits in the whole Bible. When the Israelites entered the land of Canaan, there were already people living there who didn’t want to leave. Most of those people were eventually killed by the Israelites. Why was it okay for the Israelites to take land from other people, and how could it POSSIBLY be okay for the Israelites to KILL them to get it?!?
