…and the Team Spotlight
We’re continuing in our series of introductions to the team of people who work alongside Phil on the What’s in the Bible? team. This month, we’d like you to meet Melanie Rainer.
Melanie is the Senior Content Manager. She oversees the development of church and family resources – producing, sometimes editing, and often writing. If you’ve used the What’s in the Bible? Curriculum or read any of Buck Denver’s reading plans on Bible.com, Melanie has played a big role in overseeing the content development for those projects. She’s currently hard at work bringing VBS to life! Melanie has been with the WITB team five years this May and this is her first job out of college!
She is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Belmont University in Nashville where she studied Political Science and Economics. She and her husband Price now live in St. Louis, Missouri where Price is in business school. We stay closely connected with Melanie via video conference but love the occasional visit from her when she’s able to make it back to town. Alongside her full-time work with the WITB team, she’s currently working on acquiring her Masters in Theological Studies at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. She also completed running her first full-marathon last Fall!
