Phil on Faith: A Conversation With A Modern Atheist
Recently on Phil’s Podcast, the topic of the new book A Manual for Creating Atheists by Peter Boghossian came up. The book makes the argument that “faith” is a flawed epistemology and should be rejected in favor of science and reason.
On the podcast, Phil brings up what he thinks the author got right, but also what he got wrong. Phil’s podcast was heard by a fan of the book and challenged Phil to have a conversation with the author. Boghossian offered to appear on the podcast in person the next time he’s in Chicago, so stay tuned for that sometime this year.
Until then, Phil took some time to write a thoughtful response to the book, the first in what will become a series of blog posts. Join the conversation, won’t you? You can read his first blog post here.

Prior to working for Phil, Bill was a commercial film editor and director in Chicago. He worked with his father at his company, Ebel Productions, specializing in commercials starring kids. After that he worked as an editor on the Christian films “Fireproof” and “Courageous” with the Kendrick Brothers in Albany, Georgia. He graduated from Campbell University in North Carolina with a business degree before pursuing a career in film.
